How does it work?
- The heavy and language edits go through a first round of edits that fix all technical (linguistic) issues. There may be comments, suggestions, and/or questions for the author to address.
- After the author addresses these comments, a second round of edits takes place. For heavy edit jobs, additional rounds may be necessary.
- As a proofread is a final reading of a text, it only undergoes one round of editing.
- All edits are done using the Track Changes feature of Microsoft Word
